The goal of the EMBA International Management programme 

The aim of the program is to strengthen your ability to work and operate as a manager in an international environment. The focus of the programme is in intercultural diversity and managerial communications.  The goal is to enhance your skills for managing international organisations and collaborating in international networks.

Outcome

Aim of the program is to learn how to manage multiculturalism and diversity in organisations. Based on the seminars and the included article reading package you will gain an overall understanding of the topic. You will write a report addressing key issues of the field from your business point of view. This includes your personal reflections and lessons learned as well as your insights and/or managerial action plan for your organisation regarding diversity and internationalisation. 

Investment in management development

The price of the programme is 3 500 euros + 24% VAT. It includes teaching and teaching materials, but not travel or accommodation costs (approx. 1,000 euros)

We expect each participant to take care of their own flight and hotel bookings. If the participation is cancelled later than 2 weeks before the first seminar, 500 euros will be charged as a cancellation fee.

The programme comprises 6 ECTS credits. It can be completed by participating in the seminars and writing a personal learning assignment of the theme of the programme. The programme can also be included in the University of Jyväskylä's Executive MBA programme as an international study module. The working language is English.
