Internationally accredited University of Jyväskylä Executive MBA is an inspiring journey to learning that provides the participants with higher level leadership skills.

The Executive MBA studies are tailored to meet the development needs of you and your company; you decide which skills to focus on. Your personalized EMBA study plan can include exactly the programmes and study formats that benefit you and your company the most, and fit your work and life situation. 

The Executive MBA programme comprises 100 credits and can be completed in 2-3 years. You can influence on the pace of your studies, and if needed, the study period can be extended to five years. Your studies progress according to your personal study plan, which remains flexible in terms of both content and schedule throughout the programme. JYU EMBA programme is taught in Finnish.

The modular structure and elective studies of JYU EMBA allow you to:

In the EMBA programme, you will strengthen your strategic leadership skills through diverse methods. In addition to interactive in-person sessions, the studies include applied assignments, project work, literature, and articles that allow you to put what you’ve learned into practice. All EMBA themes and tasks are directly applicable to your own job responsibilities and organisation. Written assignments can be completed remotely or online from any location. You can also incorporate independent learning tasks from our wide selection into your EMBA studies.

Executive MBA – how do I apply?

Request a proposal of your personal EMBA curriculum to your email. Submit the curriculum and your CV together with your cover letter to the EMBA board. The board takes applications in March, June, September and December.
