EMBA Managing Networks in Complex World
Manage and develop a complex and rapidly changing operating environment.
In a complex world, things and phenomena intertwine and impact each other in unexpected ways. Is it possible to manage the complexity of working life? In today´s constantly evolving business environment traditional leadership models are being challenged, and leadership frameworks that provide certainty can´t give answers to this.
As a participant of the EMBA Managing Networks in Complex World -programme, you gain a better understanding of your organisation´s operations by experimenting with different ways and tools to understand complex and unpredictable phenomena. Using the three frameworks offered by the programme — Systems Intelligence, Complexity Sciences and Network Thinking — you challenge familiar ways of thinking and acting both in your organisation and in your own leadership.
The case studies of the programme open up real business situations that help you to anchor theory in practice. At the same time, you prepare yourself to address real challenges, develop your skills in problem-solving, share your insights and challenge both your own thinking and that of your fellow students. The programme is taught in Finnish.
As a participant of the EMBA Managing Networks in Complex World -programme you will:
- form a comprehensive picture of modern leadership in a rapidly changing, complex operating environment through three different frameworks
- identify process and systemic features in your operating environment and integrate Systems Intelligence into impactful leadership
- learn new frameworks and ways to perceive the change and development within your organisation
- perceive various aspects and effects of complex phenomena in your organisation, that are difficult to predict
- understand organisations as social networks and networked operations as the new architecture of work
We are what we repeatedly do
