JYU Executive Education is a management development unit of the Jyväskylä University School of Business and Economics, designed to develop both private and public organisations and their managers.

Jyväskylä University School of Business and Economics, Executive Education is a university-level executive educator, operating across the country. Since 1984 we have created impactful learning environments for managers, experts and organisations. Our vision is to be a nation-wide pioneer of impactful executive education.

Our main product is AMBA,  AACSB  and BGA-accredited Executive MBA programme (Master of Business Administration), where the students lay the foundation for their own and their company's success. The EMBA programme is a comprehensive and energising journey to learning that provides the participants with higher education level general management skills. For us, the participant is not an object but a key agent and content creator. At the core of our training process are our innovative study modes that benefit the organisations of the participants already during the studies.

Expertise and particularly management expertise is becoming more and more important factor in the success of organisations.

We see management expertise consisting of four elements:
1. strong cognitive aspect, including the latest strategic and management thinking
2. self-leadership and self-knowledge
3. ability to recognize the strategic opportunities for change and to advance the changes with skill
4. ability to network and cooperate.

Our Executive MBA programme is the only Finnish-taught MBA education that has been internationally AMBA accredited (Association of MBAs). Only a little over 200 education units world-wide have been awarded with the AMBA accreditation. This guarantees that our EMBA students receive education that has been internationally recognized as high quality training.

In addition to the EMBA programmes, we tailor education and development projects with our customers. Themes of the tailored programmes could include e.g.: sales management, use of social media, processing and coaching strategic projects, further development of communication and cooperation skills, executive group work etc. Those who participate in the tailored programmes can, if they wish, continue their studies in the open EMBA programme.
